How the Bleep Do We Apply It ?

How the Bleep do we apply it?

After  seeing the premiere of wtbdwk in a London cinema I  remember walking out feeling SO grateful someone had finally made a movie about all I had been researching. The world can now wake up to the extraordinary wisdom of quantum physics  and how this information can change our lives. Little did I know that most others, having only a limited familiarity with the science discussed in the movie, had no practical application of its teachings other than writing groovy words on glasses of water. Certainly the “I create my day - nobody else but me” rings daily in my ears however, do most know the power of this expression and how it truly does shape your life? IF you & I are searching to know more about ourselves the world and the universe, then What the Bleep  lends us a deepened understanding, beautifully illustrated in a story about human potential and the science behind it. The movie rocks!

From the feedback of those who shared this special viewing with me, and all those who received the DVD as a gift thereafter, I began to realize  there was so much information to absorb that most  people probably  left the theater with a  limited understanding of some key messages and how to apply their meaning in their daily lives.  . So, if we follow the movie’s theme that  “modern materialism indeed strips us of the need to take responsibility”,  and having some “understanding of Quantum Physics puts the responsibility back into our hands”,  then I propose a path that enables us to embrace the science, explain its confusing vernacular and then apply the powerful benefits it offers to our lives.
Let’s begin by remembering the wonderful story of the Shamanic people who were not able to see Columbus’ ships coming from the East but noticed the water patterns & waves changing on their ocean. Their eyes had never seen ships before so they couldn’t see them as naturally as we do. They could however see the subtle changes through the waves of the ocean (WOW!!). This powerful example is easily metaphoric of today in so many ways. Starting with the end in mind, an example could be “the great shift” that according to the Mayan prophecies “the end of the world” is scheduled for 2012. Can we see the “ripples in the water” now to forecast “this end of the world” approaching? Quite possibly! The internet enabled the world to know about the coming of the movie: What the Bleep, long before it arrived in our countries. So the internet showed the ripples in the water. The very understanding of the teachings in What the Bleep is perhaps a part of the Mayan prophecies and the world coming to an end may indeed translate to the world as we know it,  in current thought – be ending. A greater use of our minds our energy and our spirit may be the “new world”. Ponder that for a moment – if you haven’t already.

Will it yet again, be a time of “the once impossible” becoming possible and normal for all ? Once we believed the “earth is flat”. It was only  until we began exploring our environment, that belief changed. Our determined vision that “man can fly” has enabled man to take to the skies in flying metal tubes. We just expanded our thoughts, changed our mindset and look where it got us. We can also talk to our families scattered across the world through what began as our “type writers” and has now evolved into our laptops. Such acts like firewalking and manifestation are currently perceived now as “impossible” for most people. These skills are fast becoming more practiced by many different cultures and may some day soon be accepted as a part of normal life.  Change in our thoughts and essentially change in our beliefs, continues to change the world.

Our responsibility or rather our ablility to respond to the information shared in What the Bleep, is to ask bigger & better questions of life and of ourselves. Lets make better use of our thoughts and minds as individuals and collectively. Keep a keen eye on the “ocean” for the ripples of change – there are signs everywhere. Many may already see a shift to a greater level of consciousness within the masses. This shift may be perceived as a threat to the status quo , and thus employ fear tactics and brainwashing to dumb-down and keep the herd from thinking for themselves. An example of these fear tactics and mass mind control may be witnessed in the many ridiculous advertisements we see on television. Just how dumbed down a state of mind are the advertisers and marketeers leading their audiences into becoming? Television and media worldwide is full of “programs”, messages and commands that influence audiences’ thoughts and leads them into a trance like “sheep” state of being. Another example is the huge success of the digital gaming industry – it’s a brilliant form of mind control. The addictive nature of many digital games played by all ages keeps players from putting their brilliant minds to better use and thus takes control of their minds for the time they are focused on the game. The addictive nature of the games makes them profitable and clever until the players see the “silly-con” they’ve been led to believe. The essence of every computer and every computer game console is made with a sillicon chip – ironic or a superb clue… that broken down into syllables it’s a “silly–con”.  The more people are aware of these dumb-down “programs” and how their minds are being controlled, the more they can do something positive about it. Hence What the Bleep did not come out of Hollywood – it was aimed at those un-controlled enquiring minds eager to know more about ourselves our planet and our universe. It is slowly reaching and being understood by the masses due to its own growing popularity. We only have to reach a significant few to achieve the 100th monkey effect and the world will be an interesting place for all.

By knowing there is more to this reality we live in, and by watching What the Bleep, we can now ask bigger questions. We must question the raw elements of our environment. As a result we will engage more of our minds rather than accepting what we’re led (like sheep) to believe. Question our reality constantly, as there may well be a better one that we have yet to create. More awareness in our environments equates to putting more thought into every aspect of our lives including our working life. If you have yet to move into the working world then as a student you too can be asking more of your selves by questioning the method you are using to learn, study and inevitably - work. How do you use your brain, your mind and your thoughts?

Wouldn’t it be groovy, as a student of any age, to know that you are born genius? In fact we’re all born genius- it’s just how you use your brain that matters. Sadly most teachers don’t know this, so in our schooling we have been taught in a way that works for some but not for all. So we apply what we can and get by, finding ourselves in a working environment that is focused similarly to how we were taught at school.

How do we translate the “Physics of Possibilities” into our own worlds? What many didn’t realize is to exercise the “whole brain” is to be in “the field” (Lynn McTaggart) or “in the Zone” as athletes & artists would understand it.  The human brain has 2 hemispheres commonly known as the left & right hemispheres. The majority of the planet have done well to exhaust the left hemisphere with information, analytics and logic - after all we now have over 3000 books published daily (that excludes e-books). That’s a lot of information. The left hemisphere is the logical & analytical part of the brain. In the corporate world this way of working comes in the form of “Word” documents, excel spreadsheets and cell based software.

The highly creative right hemisphere is thankfully being explored more & more these days by the vast ideas and concepts we read about, see or purchase. “Orange County Choppers” proves the artistic genius is applicable to motorbikes, prompting many similar television programs showing men and woman getting highly creative to improve a car, truck, motor bike, home, restaurant, someone’s life, and so the list goes on.  This right hemisphere is also the empathetic & purpose driven area of the brain, so many of the television programs just mentioned, also have an empathetic theme. Bikes, cars & homes are all improved for someone in need. This right hemisphere of the brain is where Picasso hung-out, Sir Richard Branson too is a great example of an ideas man, purpose driven with a highly developed right brain. His business has grown into so many different areas of industry. As we see all around us many ideas have been developed into real businesses.

The “whole brain” working as one is optimal – when in this mode we we epiphanies, those award winning ideas and “wow” brain waves.  This is the state of mind where Leonardo Da Vinci, Michael Angelo and Albert Einstein all hung-out. Looking at nature with its diverse & abundant examples of creativeness, we know we are all capable of so much more if we, like nature – engage the whole brain thus enabling that broadband connection from our brains to that awesome energy of creation.

Once again the $1million question comes up – “How does one do that?”

One simple way to engage more of your mind is to Mind Map everyday as part of your routine. Mind Mapping is better described as visually integrating information synergistically. As you open up your emails, open up your Mind Mapping tool. The science supporting mind mapping says our brains are wired the way mind mapping works as a whole: in color, with key pictures or words, with an order & logic combined with randomness too. As so much of my time is spent on a computer I encourage the use of mind mapping software that uses today’s technologies and visually integrates information into one application. This allows you to work with information and color, analytics and creativity, producing spreadsheets and multidimensional maps of your thoughts or business processes. And it’s easy.  Just like your thoughts everything can be visually linked so all supporting documentation and hyperlinks are in one place. This is particularly useful if you are a project manager running large projects.  This application frees up your brain of wasted time thinking with only one hemisphere, by using a technology that encourages the whole brain to work as one. Our brains weren’t designed to think in lists alone – we taught ourselves to do this. Instead we have random thoughts sometimes popping into our minds from “nowhere” or rather from “now-here”. This technology allows our thoughts to be captured and added to a visual diagram in a logical colorful process thus keeping left & right hemispheres working as one. A picture tells 1000 words so we use pictures in our maps too. Working the way your brain is wired  improves productivity, gives you time back in your day and it builds the vital muscular connections between left & right hemispheres that will grow your mind into a stronger muscle capable of so much more. Think about it – you are using more of your mind more of the time – this will mean processing time is that much quicker, so what would you do if you could have time back in your day?

Simply put we’re going back to nature now and working with it, not against it. Getting back to the “What the Bleep” movie – whole brain thinking is plunging deep into “the Field” (Lynn McTaggart) of quantum physics and allowing yourself to soak up and explore the abundant possibilities that await us.

Now you can get creative about creating your day and begin to understand that creating thoughts can be fun, empowering and extremely powerful. Imagine changing a thought that could have had a negative feel to it, to a positively powerful jump-out-of-bed-thought. We all have the power to do so. When one builds these very physical connections between the brain’s hemispheres – more magic, more epiphanies and way more fun is invited into our lives. Mind map your daily processes at work, mind map at college & school and this will improve your brain power while giving you time back in your day to connect you to the awesome creative energy you behold. After all, thoughts are energy and this method of thinking has an exponential difference to your mind and thus to your world. This is a practical application and a first step for many into the world of the quantum mind, the Now, the Zone, the Field and all at a conscious level.  I hope to meet you there soon.
